Meet Our Endocrinologist, Dr. Harry Uy
Harry L. Uy, MD, FAACE
Diabetes & Metabolism Endocrinologist
Harry L. Uy, MD, holds a B.S. in Biology and a Medical degree from the University of the Philippines, graduating with honors. He completed his Internal Medicine internship at Philippine General Hospital and residency at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, New York, where he was chief resident. He pursued fellowship training in Endocrinology at the University of Texas Health Science Center, focusing on bone biology and osteoclast activity, with multiple publications. Board-certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, he specializes in thyroid issues and osteoporosis, values teaching medical students, and has received recognition as one of San Antonio’s Best Doctors. Dr. Uy is married with three children and enjoys golf, swimming, traveling, and photography.
